Preferably, a 10 X 10 area, especially if you opt to use an Open Air Photo Booth instead of a Traditional Enclosed Booth, but we can accommodate a smaller space if necessary. We’ll also need space to set up a prop table as well as an area for your guests to sign your Photo Album/Scrapbook if your package includes this feature.

Just as the name “Open Air” implies, Smore Play’s high definition camera and professional lights will be set up out in the open with no enclosures when you book this type of booth. An Open Air Photo Booth allows you the flexibility of not using a backdrop if your setting is beautiful, interesting, or unique. Or, you can choose for your guests to stand in front of one of our almost 7 feet high backdrops featuring various colored, sequined and patterned curtains, wooden planks, or a customizable green screen that allows you to project any image or setting that you want as your background.

Smore Play’s Traditional “Enclosed” Photo Booth is an approximately 6' long x 5' wide x 7' high boxed, tent-like structure enclosed by curtains. It offers more privacy as well as consistent lighting than the Open Air Photo Booth, yet you still have the options of different backdrops, curtains and green screen usage.

Yes. Our Open Air Photo Booth allows you to fit more guests into each frame (up to about 20), giving you the ability to capture larger group shots. Also, if you have guests in wheelchairs or who are using walkers, the Open Air Photo Booth is easier to access.

With Chromakey technology, your guests can stand in front of a plain green screen, yet see any image that you wish to use as your backdrop “magically” projected behind them. This technology allows guests to interact with the image(s) when they look in the camera. Just email Smore Play any high quality jpg(s) that you wish to use as your backdrop, and we’ll upload the image(s) to our photo booth’s computer to create an out of this world experience. The sky is literally the limit! We’ve had clients use images from movies, brick walls, wooden planks, and more…

Yes. Your guests can choose which image that they would like to use as the backdrop right from the photo booth screen, or you can choose to have up to 3 or 4 images rotate on your photo strips. Note: There is an additional charge for using more than 4 images.

Smore Play’s Photo Booth typically prints out one strip for you and one for your guests. However, if you have a large group and want a photo strip for everyone in the group shot, please just let our attendant know. We’ll happily print out extra strips.

Yes, all packages come with a large variety of props!

Yes, you can. Just please label your props so that they are easily sorted at the end of the event.
